Fight Meghann’s Disability 
I am asked ever day why I do things for the kids. To your Right is the main reason.This is Meghann (my step daughter) she is in the PROFOUND RANGE of AUTISM. We every day live with the screaming and biting of herself and others if they try to help or stop her from doing so. Then just seconds after, she is back to her loving carefree self. Shriners Children’s Hospital
It has been brought to my attention that the Shriner’s may have to close the children’s hospital in Greenville, SC. My friends, I have something I want everyone to know. I do this not for any glory for me or my tiny little business. The world could do without me and would never know that I was here. All of that is fine. It is of no importance at all. What is important is what the hospital is doing for the children in the six states it covers,children of all walks of life. Rosey’s Unique Products, (my business), went to the hospital to deliver a moving sand picture we made for the kids to take their minds off of their situations and in the hope of replacing their worries with a smile, if only for a split second. What I saw melted my heart. I saw kids with no legs in beds being rolled up to see their new gift, andone little girl 
with a walker is the one that got to me, (a good sized man, rough as a cob, brought to my knees), the most. As you can see in the photo below, this child’s name Kiahna Ward came to the art work, stayed there for a few minutes, and she with her walker started to walk away when she realized that what she was looking at was a new addition to the hospital. She took about eight to ten steps, stopped, looked backed over her shoulder, then looked at the attendant, she pushed her walker away and walked to the sand picture once more to play with it. Her mother was in tears, big dumb me had no clue what had just happened. Now for the GRAND FINALE she walked back to her walker, and then again she pushed it away and strolled right up to me and started to speak. Her tiny voice was so faint I,( with my half deaf ears), was forced to drop to my knees to hear her. With a grin as wide as the day is long, she thanked me for the sand picture. At this point I was in tears trying to hide them from everyone. I was able to choke out that I hoped she enjoyed it and it would be there for her and all the kids to see and spend their time with when they were there to see the doctors.
I still get emails from the mom of the kids telling me just how much the youngsters, and them as well, just love the picture. This is why I did it. Then the hospital sent me something that I wanted to see, I did not get to see the sand picture installed on the wall for all to see so I was sent this photo below of Trevor, I am also going to show the email that came with it in part. Thank you so much for the sand art picture. The kids (and grown-ups alike) love it! Each time I walk by the display, someone is there admiring your hard work. Attached you will find a photo of one of our patients, Trevor, who fell in love with the piece. Thanks again for all of the hard work and time that went into the display. My friends, this is why
I am doing this. I am just a poor man and cannot give the money needed to keep this hospital open, but we as a group can. This call for help will in no way, shape, or form do anything for me or mine. It will, however, help a lot of others that without it have no other means to
live a normal life. I beg you to reach as deep into your pocket and do what you can. Look at the pictures. See who you are turning your back on if you say no. Try to tell these kids you can’t if you can. The motto of the Shriners is: NO MAN HAS EVER STOOD SO TALL AS WHEN HE STOOPS TO HELP A CHILD. It is true and the truth will stand when the world is on fire. The kids of today will rule tomorrow. So we owe them. Do what you can for them now. Due to the Response of the children with our last Donation of the Large Sand Picture. We at Rosey’s would like to go back to the Shriner Children’s Hospital in Greenville, SC and place a smaller sand picture in all 50 patient rooms. We need help to do this. What we are asking for is a small donation toward the cost of us to build these 50 Pictures. We are eager to go back with more pictures just to see the smiles on those children’s faces. After all the first step to recovery is a positive mental attitude. Do as you can to help and I will split the cost. You help us with the materials and I will do the labor and transportation of the sand art to them.
